展現英語(yu)風采，訴(su)說微笑(xiao)力量。5月18日下(xia)午，山東(dong)職業學院第一屆英語(yu)文化節開(kai)(kai)幕式暨“The Power of Smile”主題英語(yu)演講(jiang)比(bi)賽在圖書館行政樓東(dong)報告廳舉行，學院副院長郭鵬出(chu)席(xi)開(kai)(kai)幕式并致辭，基(ji)礎部(bu)(思政部(bu))主任賈(jia)明(ming)斌、團委書記(ji)王偉、國際交(jiao)流中(zhong)心(xin)主任呂子泉(quan)蒞(li)臨比(bi)賽現場。
副(fu)院長郭鵬在致(zhi)辭中指出，隨著(zhu)我們(men)(men)國家(jia)高(gao)鐵(tie)國際化戰略的(de)推進(jin)實施和學院建設優(you)質高(gao)職院校(xiao)的(de)改革發展，培(pei)養高(gao)素(su)質應用型人才目(mu)標中學生(sheng)英(ying)語(yu)(yu)應用水平凸(tu)顯重要(yao)性，此次隆重舉(ju)辦我院第一屆英(ying)語(yu)(yu)文化節目(mu)的(de)就(jiu)是為(wei)了進(jin)一步(bu)突出英(ying)語(yu)(yu)學習的(de)重要(yao)性，鍛(duan)煉同(tong)學們(men)(men)的(de)英(ying)語(yu)(yu)口語(yu)(yu)及實際交流(liu)應用能力，營(ying)造(zao)學院濃厚的(de)英(ying)語(yu)(yu)學習氛圍，為(wei)打造(zao)特(te)色學習型校(xiao)園進(jin)行的(de)一次非(fei)常有益和有意義的(de)嘗試。
本屆英(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)文(wen)化節(jie)歷(li)時一個月(yue)，由基礎部、團委和(he)國際(ji)交流中心共同舉辦，是(shi)響應學(xue)(xue)院(yuan)(yuan)建設國內(nei)(nei)領先(xian)、國際(ji)先(xian)進的(de)(de)優質高職院(yuan)(yuan)校目(mu)標，通過開(kai)展英(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)演講比賽(sai)(sai)、英(ying)文(wen)歌曲大賽(sai)(sai)、英(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)配音秀、英(ying)文(wen)海報比賽(sai)(sai)和(he)英(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)角等系(xi)列主題活動，旨在營造人(ren)人(ren)學(xue)(xue)習(xi)英(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)、用好英(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)的(de)(de)濃厚(hou)氛圍，提升大學(xue)(xue)生的(de)(de)學(xue)(xue)英(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)、說英(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)、用好英(ying)語(yu)(yu)(yu)的(de)(de)水平，活動內(nei)(nei)容新穎(ying)豐(feng)富，貼近學(xue)(xue)習(xi)生活。
經過前期的(de)(de)預賽，最終(zhong)(zhong)有(you)來自各系的(de)(de)15位選(xuan)手站上了(le)決賽的(de)(de)舞臺(tai)，他們圍繞“The Power of Smile”為(wei)主題展示(shi)英語演(yan)講(jiang)風(feng)采(cai)，他們的(de)(de)演(yan)講(jiang)或慷(kang)慨激昂、情感熱烈，或述(shu)說細(xi)膩(ni)、娓(wei)(wei)娓(wei)(wei)道(dao)來，加之與外教Kim、Daleen的(de)(de)現(xian)場互(hu)動(dong)問答(da)，贏(ying)得了(le)臺(tai)下(xia)觀(guan)眾(zhong)的(de)(de)陣陣掌聲。經過激烈的(de)(de)比拼(pin)，最終(zhong)(zhong)張嘉(jia)琳、袁嘉(jia)賢(xian)、周穎、曲(qu)昌、高雪菲5位同學榮獲了(le)此(ci)次(ci)比賽的(de)(de)一(yi)等獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
