展現英語風(feng)采(cai)，訴說(shuo)微(wei)笑力量。5月18日下午，山(shan)東(dong)職(zhi)業(ye)學(xue)院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)第一(yi)屆英語文化節開幕式暨(ji)“The Power of Smile”主(zhu)(zhu)題(ti)英語演講比(bi)賽(sai)在(zai)圖書館行政(zheng)樓東(dong)報告廳舉行，學(xue)院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)副院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)長郭鵬出席開幕式并致辭，基礎部(思(si)政(zheng)部)主(zhu)(zhu)任賈明斌、團委書記王偉、國際交流中心(xin)主(zhu)(zhu)任呂子泉蒞臨比(bi)賽(sai)現場。
副院(yuan)長郭鵬在致(zhi)辭中指出，隨著我們國家高(gao)鐵國際化戰略的(de)(de)(de)推進實施和學(xue)院(yuan)建(jian)設優質高(gao)職(zhi)院(yuan)校的(de)(de)(de)改(gai)革發展，培養(yang)高(gao)素(su)質應(ying)用(yong)型(xing)人(ren)才目(mu)標中學(xue)生英(ying)(ying)語應(ying)用(yong)水平(ping)凸顯重(zhong)要性(xing)，此次隆重(zhong)舉辦我院(yuan)第一屆英(ying)(ying)語文化節目(mu)的(de)(de)(de)就是為了進一步突出英(ying)(ying)語學(xue)習(xi)的(de)(de)(de)重(zhong)要性(xing)，鍛煉(lian)同學(xue)們的(de)(de)(de)英(ying)(ying)語口語及實際交流應(ying)用(yong)能(neng)力，營造學(xue)院(yuan)濃(nong)厚的(de)(de)(de)英(ying)(ying)語學(xue)習(xi)氛圍，為打造特色(se)學(xue)習(xi)型(xing)校園進行(xing)的(de)(de)(de)一次非常有益和有意義的(de)(de)(de)嘗試。
本屆(jie)英(ying)語(yu)文(wen)化節歷時一個月，由基礎(chu)部(bu)、團委(wei)和(he)國際交流中心(xin)共同(tong)舉辦，是響(xiang)應學院建設國內領先(xian)、國際先(xian)進的優(you)質高職院校目標，通過開(kai)展英(ying)語(yu)演講比賽(sai)(sai)、英(ying)文(wen)歌曲大賽(sai)(sai)、英(ying)語(yu)配(pei)音秀(xiu)、英(ying)文(wen)海(hai)報(bao)比賽(sai)(sai)和(he)英(ying)語(yu)角等(deng)系列主題(ti)活動(dong)，旨(zhi)在營造人人學習英(ying)語(yu)、用(yong)好英(ying)語(yu)的濃厚氛(fen)圍，提升大學生(sheng)的學英(ying)語(yu)、說英(ying)語(yu)、用(yong)好英(ying)語(yu)的水平，活動(dong)內容新穎豐富，貼近學習生(sheng)活。
經過前期的預(yu)賽(sai)，最終有來(lai)自各(ge)系的15位(wei)選(xuan)手站上(shang)了(le)決(jue)賽(sai)的舞臺，他(ta)(ta)們(men)圍繞“The Power of Smile”為主題展示英語演(yan)(yan)講(jiang)風采，他(ta)(ta)們(men)的演(yan)(yan)講(jiang)或慷慨激昂、情感熱烈，或述說細膩、娓娓道來(lai)，加之(zhi)與外教Kim、Daleen的現場互(hu)動問答(da)，贏得了(le)臺下(xia)觀眾的陣陣掌聲。經過激烈的比拼，最終張(zhang)嘉(jia)琳、袁嘉(jia)賢、周(zhou)穎、曲昌、高雪(xue)菲5位(wei)同(tong)學(xue)榮獲了(le)此次比賽(sai)的一等獎(jiang)。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
