展現英語(yu)風采，訴說微笑(xiao)力(li)量(liang)。5月18日下(xia)午，山(shan)東職業學(xue)院(yuan)第一屆(jie)英語(yu)文化節開幕式暨“The Power of Smile”主題英語(yu)演講比賽在圖(tu)書館行(xing)政樓東報(bao)告廳舉行(xing)，學(xue)院(yuan)副院(yuan)長郭鵬出席開幕式并致(zhi)辭，基(ji)礎部(思政部)主任賈明(ming)斌、團委(wei)書記王偉、國際交流中心(xin)主任呂子泉(quan)蒞臨比賽現場。
副院(yuan)長郭鵬在致辭中(zhong)指(zhi)出，隨(sui)著我們(men)國家高(gao)鐵國際(ji)化戰略的(de)(de)(de)(de)推進實施和學(xue)(xue)院(yuan)建設優質高(gao)職院(yuan)校的(de)(de)(de)(de)改革發(fa)展，培養高(gao)素質應用(yong)型人(ren)才(cai)目標中(zhong)學(xue)(xue)生英語應用(yong)水(shui)平(ping)凸(tu)顯重要性，此次隆重舉辦我院(yuan)第一屆英語文化節目的(de)(de)(de)(de)就是(shi)為了進一步突(tu)出英語學(xue)(xue)習的(de)(de)(de)(de)重要性，鍛(duan)煉(lian)同學(xue)(xue)們(men)的(de)(de)(de)(de)英語口語及實際(ji)交流應用(yong)能力，營造學(xue)(xue)院(yuan)濃厚的(de)(de)(de)(de)英語學(xue)(xue)習氛圍，為打造特色學(xue)(xue)習型校園進行的(de)(de)(de)(de)一次非常有益(yi)和有意義(yi)的(de)(de)(de)(de)嘗試。
本屆(jie)英(ying)語(yu)文化節歷時一個月，由(you)基(ji)礎(chu)部、團委和(he)國(guo)(guo)際交流(liu)中心共同舉(ju)辦(ban)，是響(xiang)應學院建設(she)國(guo)(guo)內領先、國(guo)(guo)際先進(jin)的優質高職院校(xiao)目標，通過(guo)開展(zhan)英(ying)語(yu)演講比(bi)賽、英(ying)文歌(ge)曲大(da)賽、英(ying)語(yu)配音秀、英(ying)文海報(bao)比(bi)賽和(he)英(ying)語(yu)角等系列主(zhu)題活(huo)動(dong)，旨在營造(zao)人(ren)人(ren)學習英(ying)語(yu)、用(yong)好英(ying)語(yu)的濃(nong)厚(hou)氛圍(wei)，提(ti)升大(da)學生(sheng)的學英(ying)語(yu)、說英(ying)語(yu)、用(yong)好英(ying)語(yu)的水(shui)平，活(huo)動(dong)內容新穎豐富，貼近學習生(sheng)活(huo)。
經過前(qian)期的(de)預賽(sai)，最終(zhong)有來(lai)自各系的(de)15位選手站上了決賽(sai)的(de)舞臺(tai)，他們(men)圍(wei)繞“The Power of Smile”為(wei)主(zhu)題展示英語演講風采，他們(men)的(de)演講或慷慨激昂、情感熱烈(lie)，或述說細膩、娓(wei)娓(wei)道來(lai)，加之與外教Kim、Daleen的(de)現場互動(dong)問答，贏得了臺(tai)下觀眾的(de)陣陣掌聲。經過激烈(lie)的(de)比(bi)拼(pin)，最終(zhong)張嘉(jia)琳、袁嘉(jia)賢、周穎(ying)、曲昌、高雪菲5位同學榮(rong)獲了此次(ci)比(bi)賽(sai)的(de)一(yi)等(deng)獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
